Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), 29 December 2021: GLA University Mathura, a private university in Uttar Pradesh, has announced PhD Admission for Even Semester 2021-22. Admissions to PhD Programmes will be done through written test followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates. Financial assistantship will be offered to deserving full time scholars in all streams.
PhD Admission for both Full Time & Part Time available.

Date of Entrance Test & Interview – 15 January 2022
Application Fees: The application Fee is 1000.
Eligibility Conditions: 55% marks in Master’s degree for the admission in Applied & Humanities (Biotechnology and Immunology, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English). However, 60% marks in Master’s degree remaining Courses.
- Candidates with valid MPhil/NET/JRF/SLET/GATE/GPAT scores are exempted from written test.
- Candidates for admission to the PhD program shall have 55% marks in Master’s degree for the admission in Applied Science & Humanities (Biotechnology, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, English), Law, Management and Education.
- However, 60% marks in Master’s degree remaining Courses (Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering & Application, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Sciences).
Five Percent Relaxation in the minimum eligibility is provided to SC/ST Category Students.
Selection Procedure: The applicant will have to qualify the PhD entrance test conducted by the University or central bodies such as UGC /CSIR etc. The qualified applicant will be interviewed by the respective departmental research committee.
Candidates with with MPhil/NET/GPAT/SLET/GATE are exempted from written test.
The PhD Admission Notice mentioned that Financial Assistance will be offered to deserving full time scholars @ Rs 25,000 Per Month.
