Bhopal: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal, an Institute of National Importance, has released PhD for August 2021 session.
Fellowships: All selected candidates will be eligible to receive JRF fellowship as per the funding agency norms, in vogue.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 25 October 2020.
Currently, the Institute offers PhD programmes in the following disciplines:

Chemical Engineering
Chemistry
Earth and Environmental Sciences
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Humanities and Social Sciences (English)
Mathematics
Physics
Age Limit
Preferably not more than 28 years. Age relaxation of 3 years will be given for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and 5 years for SC/ST/PD/Female applicants.
Upper age limit shall be determined as on last date of online submission of applications. Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate/Aadhar Card only will be accepted by the IISER Bhopal for determining the age.
Selection Procedure: After the last date, IISER Bhopal will screen all applications and release the list of candidates shortlisted for interviews on the Institute’s website and shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email only.
