Mumbai, 15 March 2025: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will release PhD & PG Admission for Semester I for 2025-26 very soon. The online application portal will be opened from 18 March 2025.
IIT Bombay informed that the details of PG/Ph.D. admissions (AY 2025-26) will be displayed on 18 March 2025.
PhD Admission is available in the following categories:
Teaching Assistantship (TA) [Financial support as per MHRD norm]
Research Assistantship (RA)
Teaching / Research Assistantship Through Project (TAP/RAP)
Fellowship Award (FA)
Sponsored Candidate (SW)
Self-financed – Indian Nationals, including those on Study Leave (SF)
Self-Financed Foreign Nationals (FRNSF)
Foreign Nationals with Indian Council for Cultural Relations Award (ICCR)
Institute Staff of IIT Bombay (IS)
Project Staff (PS)
External (EX)
College Teacher (CT)
