Gandhinagar, 24 January 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, an Institute of National Importance, has announced Admission for MA and MSc programmes for 2023-24.

  • MA in Society and Culture
  • MSc in Cognitive Science

MA in Society and Culture:

Admission to MA in Society and Culture is offered based on entrance test and interview. The minimum criterion to apply is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CPI/GPA). Meeting the minimum application criterion will not guarantee admission to the program. The students who are awaiting final semester/year results and those who would be completing a Bachelor’s degree in the current are also eligible to apply.

The MA and MSC 2023 Admission test and interviews will happen in a hybrid mode.

Application Fees for SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 150 and all others: Rs. 300.

The online application deadline is 25 January 2023.

MSc in Cognitive Science

The two-year M.Sc. programme at IITGN strives to carve out a different niche for itself compared to the large number of M.Sc. degree offerings in India.

The institute offers M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Cognitive Science. The admission to the Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics disciplines is through the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. while admission to the Cognitive Science program is through the Institute’s own written test and interview process.
