Guwahati, 15 February 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, an Institute of National Importance, has announced Admission to PhD Programmes under special scheme for UGC/CSIR-JRF for March 2023 session.
Selected candidates will be admitted under Regular Category for availing UGC/CSIR Fellowship.
Total Number of PhD Seats: The total number of seats are 40:
Physics -15
Chemistry -14
Mode of selection (Online): All stages of the selection process shall be completely online through video conferencing through MS Teams, G-Meet, etc., as per the convenience. For no stage of the selection the candidates need to come to the campus.

Opening of Application Portal for Submission of Applications: 09 February 2023.
Closing of Application Portal: 05:00 PM on 02 March 2023.
Selections will be conducted on 18 March 2023.
