Guwahati, 24 July 2022: Indian Institute of Technology  (IIT) Kanpur is the Organizing Institute for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. The examination will be held on 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th of February 2023.

The online registration will begin in the first week of September 2022. Details of the examination shall be available on the #GATE2023 website: https://gate.iitk.ac.in.

GATE2023 will be a computer-based test (CBT). It will be conducted in twenty-nine subject areas with the choice of selecting two papers in some subjects.

Meanwhile, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is the organizing institute for Joint Admission for test for Masters (JAM) 2023. The examinations will be held on 12 February 2023. The online application portal will open for registration from 07 September 2022. The online application portal will close on 11 October 2022.

JAM 2023 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted in seven different subjects: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH).

Key Dates for JAM 2023: The online application portal will open for registration from 07 September 2022. The online application portal will close on 11 October 2022.

The date of examination is 12 February 2022.

The declaration of JAM 2023 Results is 22 March 2023.

Direct admission to approximately 3000 seats in various postgraduate programmes (MSc Progarmmes) at IITs.

JAM 2023 scores likely to be used by around 30 CFTIs including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET for over 2300 seats.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee on behalf of National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. GATE examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT).
