Chennai: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for InterDisciplinary Research Program (IDRP) November 2020.
The Interdisciplinary Research Programme (IDRP) was introduced in IIT Madras in the year 2013 with the aim of creating a platform for encouraging research scholars from any relevant background to perform research in certain specialised areas without the restrictive academic boundaries of departments.
There are 23 InterDisciplinary Research projects available for November 2020 cycle.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 23 October 2020.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be screened through a written exam and the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview on the subsequent day. The written exam may not be applicable for external/part-time candidates.
