Kannur, Kerala, 02 October 2021: Kannur University, a state university in Kerala, has announced admission to the Ph.D. Programme 2021 – 22, including candidates exempted from Entrance Test, for the Academic Year 2021-22.

Total Seats:  The total number of PhD Seats available are 225 in 27 Subjects.

Key Dates:

Application can be submitted online from 25 September 2021 to 11 October 2021 through Kannur University website (www.kannuruniversity.ac.in ).

The print out of the application duly attested with relevant supporting documents along with receipt in original for remittance of application fee should reach “The Director , Research Directorate, Kannur University, Thavakkara Campus,Civil Station P.O, Kannur, 670002 on or before 15.10.2021 by 5.00 p.m.

The application fee of Rs.615/- shall be remitted online through SBI Collect. See the link “Online fee payment SBI Collect” in the University website.

Entrance Test:  The Entrance Test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks including objective and descriptive questions.

Entrance Test will be based on the Syllabus for UGC/CSIR/NET examinations.

Exemption From Entrance Test:

Those who have cleared JRF/ Lectureship in NET/GATE examinations conducted by such bodies as UGC, CSIR ICAR, ICMR and other similar institutions of Central Government.

Candidates who have secured the Research Fellowship (of three years or more) of state / Central

Government funding agencies.
