Guwahati: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, the organizing institute of GATE 2018, has uploaded the list of defective applications rejected of GATE 2018. Further, IIT Guwahati has uploaded the list of duplicate applications rejected.
As per the official notification uploaded on the official website of GATE 2018, these two lists have been uploaded. The notification for the defective applications rejected list mentioned that the applications have been rejected since these do not fulfil the requirements mentioned in GATE 2018 brochure.
The notification for duplicate applications rejected list informed that the applications are rejected since these are found to be part of duplicate/triplicate applications.
Earlier, IIT Guwahati had clearly informed that Candidates must apply only once through a designated Regional Office only. The duplicate applications list available on the official website mentions the Zone name along with the Enrolment ID of the candidates.
IIT Guwahati has uploaded Mock Test GATE 2018 for all 23 subjects. Through GATE Mock Test 2018, candidates will be able to get an idea of the exam pattern and division of marks allotted to various subjects. Another advantage for appearing the Mock Test is candidates can feel similar environment of GATE 2018 Exam while taking the test.
GATE 2018 is scheduled to be organized on February 3-4, 2018 and February 10-11, 2018 at multiple test centres across India and six cities abroad.
GATE score card is used for admissions to various IITs, NIITs, IISc and other Institutions in the country for postgraduate degree programs – MTech and direct Doctoral programs. Further, various Public State Undertakings (PSUs) recruit candidates for engineering/technical posts based on their GATE scores.
Here it can be mentioned that GATE 2018 Admit Cards are expected to be released on 05 January 2018 and that is exactly the time when the PSUs will also start accepting job applications for recruitment based on the GATE 2018.
