Ahmedabad, 09 January 2021: MICA, formerly Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, has announced Admission to Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) 2021. This programme is approved by AICTE. The institute offers comprehensive fellowships that includes fee waiver, a monthly stipend and other research grants.
FPM offers specialisations in the areas of:
- Management
- Communication
- Marketing
- Media and Entertainment
- Digital Marketing
Eligibility Conditions: Applicants must have a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved Post Graduate/Master’s Degree/equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the field of management/communications/humanities/ or social science. Exposure and understanding of Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Advertising and/or Journalism shall be an added advantage.
The candidate should have also completed a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved three-year Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent. The Bachelor’s degree can be from any discipline (Engineering/ Science/ Social Studies/ Arts/ Commerce/ Communication/ Management/ or Media).
Foreign nationals and NRIs with non-Indian degrees that are considered equivalent (by UGC/AIU/AICTE) to the qualifications listed with GRE above are also eligible to apply for the programme.
Admission Procedure:
Stage 1: Telephone interviews of eligible candidates.
Stage 2: The Shortlisted candidates appear for MICA’s FPM Admission Test. The FPM Admission Test is a three-day process organised on the MICA campus, comprising of the Written Test (WT), an Individual Presentation (IP) and a Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates appearing for the admission test will be provided lodging and boarding at the MICA campus.
Financial Support: All students (except sponsored students) admitted to the Programme will be given a fellowship and contingency allowance. Fellowship includes fee waiver and a monthly stipend. The stipend for the first 2 years is Rs.27,500 per month and that of 3rd and 4th year is Rs.29,700 and Rs.33,000, respectively. In addition to the stipend, a contingency grant of Rs. 15,000 in the first year and Rs. 30,000 in each of the second and third years will be available to the students for academic expenses like case material, books, travel, data collection expenses, thesis expenses etc. Students will be permitted to carry over surpluses to the following years.
