New Delhi: National University of Education Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) has invited applications for MPhil and PhD programmes for 2017 session. NUEPA offers MPhil and PhD programmes in the following research areas: Education Policy, Education Planning, Education Administration and Education Finance. PhD scholars are eligible for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF)/ Senior Research Fellowships (SRF).

The closing date for submission of physical application is 26 May 2017. For the academic year 2017-18, maximum 20 seats are available for admission to the MPhil and PhD programmes. The NUEPA informed that both Full-Time and Part Time PhD programmes are also available.

Eligibility for MPhil Programme: The candidates must have Master Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC, ST  and PwD candidates) or its equivalent grade in Master Degree in social sciences and allied disciplines from a recognized university. Candidates having Master’s Degree in other areas may be considered if he/she has teaching experience or experience of working in the areas of educational policy, planning and administration.

The NET qualified candidates, who have been awarded JRF by UGC, with above mentioned educational qualifications are also encouraged  to apply.

Eligibility for PhD Programme: The University offers admission to PhD Programme for candidates with MPhil Degree in education policy, planning and administration. In addition to the qualifications mentioned in 3.1 paragraph (admission prospectus), candidates with exceptionally brilliant academic record in social sciences/allied areas coupled with publications of high standard are considered for admission in PhD programme.

MPhil graduates of NUEPA will be eligible for consideration for admission to the PhD programme after due scrutiny by a Selection/Admission Committee , if they obtain a FGPA of 6 or above on the ten point scale.

The application fee is Rs 200 /- (Rs 100 /- for SC/ST).  The application form along with other documents should reach to the NUEPA office before 26 May 2017.
