New Delhi, 23 November 2021: Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, a State University by Government of NCT of Delhi, has released PhD Admission for Even Semester of 2021-22. PhD Scholars will be eligible for University Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship (TRF)/ University Research Fellowship (URF).

The categories of admissions are given as under:

  1. a) Research Scholars with University Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship (TRF)/ University Research Fellowship (URF).
  2. b) Research Scholars with fellowship from other sponsoring agencies (UGC/DST/CSIR/DBT/ICMR etc.)
  3. c) Research Scholars without any fellowship (Self-financing mode).

Maximum number of intake under TRF/URF scheme is 101. Maximum number of intake without

university fellowship is 102.

The University offers a total of 150 Teaching cum Research Fellowships (TRF) with a fellowship amount of Rs 45000/- and University Research Fellowships (URF) with a fellowship amount of Rs 30000/- for a duration of 3 years.

Key Dates: The online application portal will close on 28 November 2021.

Selection Procedure: The Research Scholars shall be admitted in two-stage process through an Entrance Test and an Interview. Only those candidates shall be called for interview who have secured a minimum qualifying mark of 50% in the entrance test.
