Hamirpur, 28 June 2022: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur, an Institute of National Importance, has released Recruitment Notification for Temporary Faculty Posts (purely on contract basis with consolidated salary) in various Departments. The mode of recruitment is Online Interview. The total number of vacant posts are 45 across 12 departments.
Consolidated Salary:
- MArch/MPlan Degree Holders: Rs. 60,000 per month (all inclusive)
- PhD Degree Holders Rs. 70,000 per month (all inclusive)
Key Dates: Last date of submission of online application is 15 July 2022 (5:00 pm). The Date of Off-Line Interview will be notified on the Institute website.

Eligibility Conditions:
For all Departments (except Department of Architecture):
PhD Degree in relevant field or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degree(s)

For Department of Architecture:
PhD Degree in relevant field or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degree(s).
Note: lf suitable Ph.D. Candidates are not available for Department of Architecture then candidates having M. Arch./ M Plan degree with first class both at PG & UG (8. Arch /B. Plan) and one year professional experience (derived from Schedule-E of NIT Statutes for entry level post) may also be considered.
