Eligibility Conditions: Candidates with 55% marks or B‟ grade in the 7-point UGC Scale at the Master‟s Degree level or equivalent will be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme in the same or equivalent in the concerned or allied/cognate subject is eligible for admission. However, in cases of a candidates belonging to ST/SC category, the minimum percentage/CGPA may be relaxed to the extent provided by the Government of India/UGC.
