Pondicherry, 03 August 2020: Pondicherry University, a Central University, has announced Admission for 2020-21. Admission is available in the following programmes: Post Graduate (MA, MSc, MCA, MBA, MTech, MEd, MCom, etc), Doctoral (PhD) and PG Diploma Courses. The total number of PhD seats are 400.

Total PhD Vacant PhD Seats: The total number of vacant PhD Seats are 400 for 2020-21: University – 214; Affiliated Colleges/Research Centres/Institutions -186.
Scholarships: All the full time scholars admitted to the PhD of the University Departments will be eligible for a monthly fellowship of Rs.8000/- with contingency.
The University will conduct PhD Entrance Test at national levels in 36 Cities across India. For PhD Courses, admission is based on Entrance Test/ JRF and Interview.
