Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu: Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), an Institution of National Importance, has invited applications from eligible candidates for PhD Programmes (Full-time / Part-time).
Disciplines: Applied Psychology, Gender Studies (Inter-disciplinary), Development Studies (Inter-disciplinary), Social Work, Social Engineering (Inter-disciplinary) and Local Governance (Inter-disciplinary).
Key Dates: The last date for submission of application is 26 October 2017. The application fee is Rs 500/-.
Eligibility Conditions: Master’s Degree in the above mentioned areas with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled) in the Master’s degree.
The candidates with MPhil/JRF/NET/SLET are exempted from the entrance examination.
Fellowship Benefits: RGNIYD offers fellowship of Rs.13000/- p.m + Rs. 24000/- contingency per year for full time scholars who are non-receipt of any other fellowships from any source.
Selection Process: On the basis of Entrance Test and Personal Interview to be conducted by the Institute. Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per Government of India Rules.
