Dumka, 03 February 2022: Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU), a state university in Jharkhand, has announced Admission for PhD Programmes. The total number of PhD Seats are 407 in 16 Departments.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 10 February 2022.
The admission to the PhD programme is guided by the U.G.C. regulations and other relevant rules of the University. Admission to the programme will be based on the Ph.D Entrance Test (PET).
Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program shall have a Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. A relaxation of 5% of marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC- A/OBC-B/ Person with Disability (PwD) as per UGC guidelines. Candidates with UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET/SLET/GATE are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam but each need to fill the application form for Ph.D program.
