Mumbai, 25 September 2024: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), India’s premier institution for advanced research in fundamental sciences, has announced Graduate School Admissions (GS-2025) for PhD, Integrated PhD and MSc Progarmms.
TIFR is offering PhD and Integrated MSc-PhD programs in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science & Learning, Information and Data Science, Science Education, and an MSc program in Wildlife Biology and Conservation.
TIFR will conduct Entrance Test for Graduate School Admissions (GS 2025) for PhD, Integrated PhD and MSc Progarmms on 08 December 2024 (Sunday).

Fellowships:
PhD
Students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 37,000 (+ hostel accommodation OR HRA as applicable) enhanced to Rs 42,000 after registration.
I-PhD
Students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000 for the first year. At the end of the first year, upon satisfactory performance, the fellowship is enhanced to Rs 37,000 per month (further raised to Rs 42,000 after registration for PhD). If a student takes the MSc exit option, then the fellowship for the 3rd year is reduced to the 1st year amount.
