Mumbai, 31 January 2022: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Asia’s oldest institute for professional social work education, announces Admission to the 2022-24 batch for it’s Full-Time (Regular) Post-Graduate Degree Programmes (MA, M Sc, MHA, MPH, LAW) offered from Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, and Hyderabad campuses.
TISS offers 50 Master’s Degree programmes in 19 Schools for its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses for the 2022-2024 batch.
MA Entrance Test- TISS Admissions 2022
Admissions to Masters (Master of Arts / Master of Science / BEd-MEd Integrated ) Programmes:
TISS-NET 2022:
TISS-NET is a computer-based test with 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ). TISS-NET 2022 will be held on 26th February 2022, from 2 pm to 3.40 pm across several centers located in different parts of the country.
Candidates applying for single or multiple programmes need to attend only one test and the TISS-NET Score will be valid for all the programmes applied for.
NO NEGATIVE MARKING applicable for TISS-NET for any programme.
The medium of TISS-NET will be English.
Duration of the test – 2 pm to 3.40 pm (1 hour & 40 minutes)
Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any of the two campuses indicating the order of preference. The merit list will be prepared based on the preferences given by the candidate in the application form.
TISS National Entrance Test (TISS-NET) is computer based. TISS NET 2021 will take place across the country in 40 Cities on 20 February 2021 from 2 pm to 3.40 pm.
Pre Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) for programmes offered at Mumbai,Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Guwahati Campuses will be conducted at the respective campuses. Candidates applying for programmes at more than one campus, will have to travel to these places for PIT/PI. Except for the eligible candidates from the SC/ST categories all others will bear the cost of travel, lodging and boarding for attending the NET, as well as PIT/PI.
