New Delhi, 24 March 2021: There are more than 50 Central Universities in India. These universities are popular destination for students pursuing UG, PG and Doctoral Progarmmes. Admission for Academic Year 2021-22 has just started.
As on 24 March 2021, there are three Central Universities which have already announced Admission for PhD Programmes. These include Nalanda University, Tripura University and Mizoram University have opened Admission for PhD Admission 2021-22.

Tripura University Announces PhD Admission for 139 Seats ! Decoding Eligibility
Tripura (W), 06 Mar 2021: Tripura University, a Central University, has announced PhD Admission 2021. Admission to the PhD programs will be through Research Eligibility Test (RET-2020) under different departments in the Faculties of Science and Arts & Commerce.
Total PhD Seats: The total number of PhD Seats are 139 across 36 subjects.
Key Dates: The application portal will open from 26th February (midnight) to 26 March 2021 (midnight).
Application Fees: The Application Fees will be as follows (for each programme) –
Requisite Fee for UR / EWS & OBC – Rs. 800.00 (Rupees eight hundred only).
Requisite Fee for SC/ST/PWD – Rs. 600.00 (Rupees six hundred only).
Mizoram University, a Central University, Opens PhD Admission for Winter Session 2021
Aizawl, 19 March 2021: Mizoram University, Aizawl, a Central University, has announced PhD Admission for Winter Session 2021. Admission is offered for those candidates having completed M.Phil or those having UGC-JRF and completed Course Work.
Key Dates: Last date for receiving online application is 31 March 2021
