As on 23 February 2023, there are Three Central Universities have announced PhD for 2022-23 Academic Year. The total number of vacant PhD Seats are 943.

Allahabad University Announces PhD Admission Test for 709 seats in 43 Subjects
Allahabad, 20 February 2023: University of Allahabad, a Central University in Uttar Pradesh, has announced Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2022 for admission to PhD Programmes. These PhD programmes are available in the university main Campus and its 10 Constituent Colleges.
Total Vacant PhD Seats: The total number PhD seats available are 909 across 43 subjects. The CRET 2022 will be conducted for 43 subjects with 709 seats out of which 316 seats are in University Departments/Centres and 393 seats in Constituent Colleges of the University of Allahabad.

Central University of Punjab Opens PhD Admission for 124 Seats for Jan/Feb 2023 Intake
Bathinda, 22 February 2023: Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, a Central University, has released PhD Admission Notification for Jan/Feb-2023 Intake. The total number of vacant PhD seats are 124 across 33 subjects.

Central University of Rajasthan Announces PhD Admission 2022-23 (Additional Seats) for 110 Seats
Ajmer, 22 February 2023: Central University of Rajasthan has announced PhD Admission for 2022-23 (for Additional / Vacant seats). The total number of vacant PhD seats are 110 in 22 subjects.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 28 February 2023.
Candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1000/- per department (plus transaction charges and taxes as applicable) to complete online registration.
Selection Procedure: All eligible candidates are required to appear for the entrance test on the notified date and time in offline mode at Central University of Rajasthan campus. Candidature for PhD admission will not be considered if the candidate fails to appear in the entrance test.
