New Delhi, 30 November 2024: In India there are more than 50 Central Universities, which are controlled by Govt of India.
As on 30 November 2024, there are three Central Universities have announced PhD for 2024-25 Academic Year. The total number of vacant seats are expected to be more than 2400 seats.

Central University of Karnataka Opens PhD Admission 2024-25 for 30 Departments
Gulbarga, 30 November 2024: Central University of Karnataka has announced PhD Admission for 2024-25.
Candidates who have qualified for national level examinations [such as JRF (UGC / CSIR / DBT / ICMR / ICSSR), NET (UGC / CSIR), GATE or equivalent, etc.)
Candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) under PH.D only (Category-3).
Candidates who have secured a DST-INSPIRE Fellowship.
Candidates with Central Government and State Govemment sponsored fellowships
National/State level Teacher fellowship holders

University of Delhi Opens PhD Admission 2024-25 for 2,143 Seats
New Delhi, 20 November 2024: University of Delhi, a Central University, has announced admission to PhD Programmes for the Academic Session 2024-25.
For admission to Ph.D. program for the academic session 2024-25, the scores of NET Examination conducted in December 2023 and June 2024 (held on August 21 – September 05, 2024) will be considered.
Interview is mandatory for all Candidates.
Total Vacant Seats: The total number of vacant seats are 2,143 (Including – Supernumerary Seats -PwD & Foreign Nationals) in 52 Departments.
