New Delhi, 26 October 2024: In India there are more than 50 Central Universities, which are controlled by Govt of India.
As on 26 October 2024, there are three Central Universities have announced PhD for 2024-25 Academic Year. The total number of vacant seats are expected to be more than 350 seats.

Sikkim University Announces Admission to PhD Programmes 2024-25
Gangtok, 25 October 2024: Sikkim University, a Central University, has announced PhD Admission for 2024-25 academic year.
Candidates with UGC-NET score/equivalent examinations like CSIR-NET, CEED, GATE, ICMR-NET, DBT-NET, ICAR-NET, etc may apply for the programme. UGC NET score is not mandatory for applications in Non-NET subject like Bhutia.

University of Hyderabad PhD Admission 2024-25 for 214 via CSIR/UGC NET Score
Hyderabad, 21 October 2024: University of Hyderabad (UoH) has announced PhD Admission for 2024-25 though CSIR- UGC NET 2024/ UGC-NET 2024 scores.
The JRF Qualified candidates in CSIR- UGC NET 2024/ UGC-NET 2024 shall be admitted into the PhD programme based on an interview as per the University Grants Commission (Minimum standard and procedure for Award of PhD degree) Regulation 2022.
Candidates who have appeared CSIR- UGC NET 2024/ UGC-NET 2024 only are eligible to apply.
Total Vacant Seats: The total number of vacant seats are 214 in 23 subjects.
Central University of Jammu Opens PhD Admission 2024-25 for 23 Departments
Jammu, 21 October 2024: Central University of Jammu has announced Admissions to PhD Programmes for the session 2024-25. The PhD Admissions are available in 23 departments.
