New Delhi, 18 November 2021: Finally the wait is over for aspirants of Joint CSIR-UGC NET Exams. CSIR- UGC NET to be held on 29 January 2022 (Saturday). The registration portal for the exam will be opened soon.
In a Twitter Message, The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced that the next CSIR NET exam will be held on 29 January 2022. After this cycle exam, there will be two more rounds to be held.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts CSIR NET exam two times in a year. However, this year the CSIR NET exam was postponed due to COVID Pandemic.
Previously, the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June, 2020 was conducted on 19, 21 & 26 November 2020 and 30 November 2020.

Joint CSIR-UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility ‘for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship/Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.
Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam is held in five science subjects:
- Chemical Science
- Earth Science
- Life Science
- Mathematical Science
- Physical Science
