As on 20 April 2024, there are three IITs have announced PhD Admission for Semester I 2024-25. These institutes offer attractive fellowships, popularly known as Institute Fellowships.

Jodhpur, 16 April 2024: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has invited online applications for Admission to PhD Programs for July 2024.
IIT Jodhpur hosts Ph.D. program in areas of technology, engineering, sciences, humanities and social scienceso Ocmanagement and entrepreneurship.

IIT Patna Opens PhD Admission July 2024 with Institute Assistantships
Patna, 04 April 2024: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for July 2024 (Autumn Semester, AY-2024-25).
The Institute assistantships will be available to eligible (Indian) students as per prevailing (MoE, GoI) norms, as applicable from time to time. At present total emoluments are Rs. 37,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 42,000/- per month for subsequent years (governed as per MoE letter F. No. 32-18/2023-TS-l, dtd. 13.09.2023).
