Guru Nanak Dev University Opens PhD Admission Aug 2024 for 36 Departments
Amritsar, 05 August 2024: Guru Nanak Dev University, a public state university in Punjab, has announced PhD Admission for August 2024 Cycle.
Eligibility/Qualification for admission to Ph.D. Programme:
Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA [50% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled candidates] of Guru Nanak Dev University or an equivalent degree of recognized Indian or Foreign University in the subject concerned or allied-field.
The students who have qualified UGC(NET)/UGC-CSIR (JRF) examination/SLET/GATE/GPAT/ICAR/INSPIRE/Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship awardees/teacher-fellowship holders/Direct Fellowship Awardees or have passed M.Phil. from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar/Validity Certificate of qualifying GNDU Ph.D. Eligibility Test will be exempted from Ph.D. Eligibility Test.
The Eligibility Test will be conducted for different departments/subjects to fill in seats for the Ph.D. programme as per the prevailing Ordinances of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for its Ph.D. Programmes.
Presidency University Kolkata Opens PhD Admission Aug 2024 for 207 Seats
Kolkata, 03 August 2023:Presidency University, a public state university in Kolkata, has announced PhD Admission for August 2024 Cycle.
Online Applications are invited from UGC or UGC – CSIR NET / NET – LS qualified candidates (with valid certificate) for admission to the Ph.D. Programme of Presidency University in various departments/school/institute for the session 2024-2025 (August cycle).
PhD Programmes are available in 15 subjects. The total vacant PhD seats are 207 seats.
