New Delhi, 02 October 2024: In India, there are 32 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and more than 20 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs). These premier research and education institutes admit PhD scholars in two sessions. Now Admission for Semester II of 2024-25 session has commenced.
As on 02 October 2024, there are two NITs have announced PhD Admission for Semester II 2024-25. These institutes offer attractive fellowships, popularly known as Institute Fellowships. The total number of PhD seats are expected to be above 100 seats with Institute Fellowships.

NIT Karnataka Opens PhD Admission January 2025 with 73 Institute Fellowships
Surathkal, 02 October 2024: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Karnataka, Surathkal, has invited applications for PhD Programmes for January 2025 session. Institute Fellowship benefits are available to Full Time PhD scholars.
Total Vacant Posts: The total number of vacant seats with Full Time Institute Scholarship is 73.
Key Dates: The registered candidates have to complete Online Application form and pay prescribed application fee, i.e. Rs 500 (OC / OBC/EWS) and Rs150 (SC / ST / PwD) through IRIS portal on or before 28 October 2024. (Monday).

SV NIT Surat Announces PhD Admission January 2025 with Institute Fellowships
Surat, 27 September 2024: Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications for PhD Programmes for January 2025 session. Institute Fellowship benefits are available to Full Time PhD scholars.
