New Delhi, 18 January 2022: In India there are 32 National Institutes of Technology (NITs). These institutes offer attractive Teaching Assistantship or Institutional Fellowships to PhD scholars.

NIT Durgapur Opens PhD Admission January 2022 with Institute Fellowships
Durgapur, 17 January 2022: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, an Institute of National Importance, has released PhD Admission for Even Semester 2021-22. The total number of PhD seats with Institute Fellowships are 16 across nine departments.
The PhD Admission is available in the following categories:
Regular Research Scholar with Institute Fellowship A
Regular Research Scholar with financial support from Government Programs (sponsored by DST, CSIR, UGC etc.) B
Regular Research Scholar selected in Externally Funded Sponsored Projects in the Institute C
Self-Sponsored PhD Program
Fellowship Benefits: Fellowship as per the current norms of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India shall be available to all selected Regular Research Scholars (Category- A).

Application Fee: The application fee of Rs 1,500/- (Rs 1,000/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates), which is non-refundable.
NIT Rourkela Announces PhD Admission January 2022 ! Online Test
Rourkela, Odisha, 16 January 2022: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, has released phD Admission notification for Spring (January) 2022 Semester commencing from January 2022. The PhD Admission is available for External Fellowship and without Institute Fellowship category only.
Admission will be given preferably to the applicants who have qualified for External fellowship. However, admission may also be considered without fellowship. Students with external fellowship like JRF-NET are especially encouraged to apply.
