Midnapore, 26 August 2021: Vidyasagar University, a state university in West Bengal, has announced PhD Admission for 2021-22. PhD Admission is available in 26 subjects across Arts, Commerce, and Science groups.
Key Dates: The last date submission of online application is 14 September 2021. The application portal will be available on the official website of the university on 01 September 2021.
The candidates will have to pay Rs 500/-only (plus convenience fee & GST, if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria: A person who has obtained master’s degree or a degree deemed equivalent from any university or institution recognised by this university or such other degree as may be considered sufficient for this purpose shall also be eligible for admission . The candidates has to obtain at least 55% marks in the General category and 50% marks in the SC, ST, PH,OBC-A,OBC-B categories.
Candidate who have qualified the NET/GATE/SET/UGC/JRF/CSIR/JRF or any other examination equivalent by the BRS, shall also be exempted from appearing at the Written Admission Test and will have to appear at an interview.
