New Delhi: Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) of Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed an MoU with Internshala to launch the ‘Youth for Andhra Program’ program. The program focuses on empowering the youth of Andhra Pradesh and shaping them into change makers at the grassroot level. 10,000 students across Andhra Pradesh will be hired under this program and will gain valuable knowledge about government policies and bureaucracy. The deadline to apply to the program is 25th February 2019.

In addition to learning about the functioning of the government, the program will also give the students a sense of responsibility towards the community. After completing the 2-month program, the students will be given a certificate from the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) and the top 100 students will get an opportunity to interact with the Honourable Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu.

RTGS was incorporated by GoAP in November 2017 to ensure agile and responsive means of governance and public service delivery to citizens. RTGS is the first-of-its-kind initiative by the Government to enable positive changes in governance, public administration and management by leveraging the tools of e-Governance, technology, and electronic communication.

On signing this partnership, the founder and CEO of Internshala, Sarvesh Agrawal said, “We are on a mission to bring meaningful learning opportunities closer to students through internships and trainings. Youth for Andhra Program is a great opportunity to empower students and provide them with various learning opportunities. Through this partnership, we hope to take learning opportunities one-step closer to the youth of India”

Internshala is India’s largest internships and trainings platform with over 5 Mn+ students and 1,20,000 organisations using the platform. Students and young graduates can find internships across different domains such as engineering, management, applied arts, architecture, law, hotel management, and so forth.
