Mumbai: ASCENT, a peer-to-peer platform for entrepreneurs, is organising an experiential learning conclave on the theme ‘Growth. Disruption. Entrepreneur.’ on 26 November 2016 (Saturday). The event will bring together the country’s best thought leaders, change-makers and innovators.

The conclave is a unique opportunity for stakeholders from across the entrepreneurship ecosystem to engage and learn from thought leaders. The participants will be heads of growth-stage companies ranging from INR 5-1500 crore. The event will serve as a platform for entrepreneurs to gain valuable insights and business advice from like-minded peers. ASCENT collaborated with EY and conducted a survey to understand the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and factors which limit the scale of growth for their businesses.

Harsh Mariwala, Chairman, Marico Ltd. and Founder, ASCENT, Uday Kotak, Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Pinakiranjan Mishra, Partner and National Leader, Retail and Consumer Products Advisory Services, from EY will release the report at the Conclave. ASCENT will also announce the winners of the ASCENT Awards 2016 in three categories – Best Growth Strategy, Best Business Innovation and Best Entrepreneur. Julius Baer Wealth Advisors India is the Lead Partner of ASCENT Conclave. The other partner being L&T Financial Services.

Commenting on the ASCENT Conclave 2016, Harsh Mariwala said, “At ASCENT, we believe in the ‘Power of the collective’. In line with this vision, inspirational thought leaders, and innovators will come together at the Conclave to share challenges and failures faced in their entrepreneurial journey. This will enable entrepreneurs to learn from each other and overcome hurdles in their business. Uday Kotak will deliver the keynote speech on ‘The Winning Way’ and Harsh Mariwala will address the attendees on the subject of ‘Leading with Purpose’. Other speakers include eminent stalwarts from the industry such as Ronnie Screwvala (Founder, Unilazer Ventures Ltd. and Swades Foundation), Falguni Nayar (Founder, Nykaa), Ashish Hemrajani (Chief Executive Officer, BookMyShow), Sandeep Singhal (Co-founder, Nexus Venture Partners), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Founder, PayTM), Neeraj Kakkar (Chief Executive Officer, Hector Beverages Pvt. Ltd.), Sasha Mirchandani (Chief Executive Officer, Kae Capital), Atul Khatri (Director, Kaytek Computer Services Pvt. Ltd.) and many more.
