Mumbai: Didi, a platform for providing home and commercial cleaning services, has recently raised $550,000 (Approx. Rs 3.5 crore) as a pre- series A funding from international VC’s and Angels including Ex Mkinsey Directors and Partners. Mydidi.in is an on-demand, hyper-local platform for excellence in high-frequency services (for now House cleaning, deep cleaning and commercial cleaning) by trained personnel in Mumbai.

Here, it can be noted that MyDidi recently got selected in AWS Activate (Amazon web services), Microsoft BizSpark Plus, and Google Launchpad Accelerator due to its technological innovations and sustainable business plan. The company offers cleaning services to households and offices at Rs 2.50 a minute. They also provide monthly packages at a discounted cost.

The company plans to start operations in Bengaluru and Pune in the near future. Currently, the on demand platform provides cleaning services in Mumbai and Thane.

The startup was founded by Jhonny Jha, CEO and Ex-McKinsey, M.Tech and B.Tech from IIT Bombay, Sagar Sen, COO, FRM Ex-Credit Suisse banker, B.Tech, IIT Bombay and Akshay Agarwal, CTO, Ex-Wikipedia, 10x management.
