Mumbai, 20 March 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, an Institute of National Importance, has announced MTech, PhD Admission for  Autumn Semester 2023-24.  Regular PhD students will be eligible for Research Assistantship (RA) and Teaching Assistantship (TA) [Financial support as per Ministry of Education.

The Following Programmes are available for admission:

Ph.D.,M.Tech., M.Tech.+ Ph.D. (Dual Degree), M.Sc.-Ph.D.(Dual Degree) (Energy),Master in Public Policy (MPP), M.S. by Research (CS & CMInDs), MA+Ph.D (Dual Degree) in Philosophy in the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences, Master in Development Practice (MDP) (CTARA) and Master of Arts by Research (MA.Res.) for the Academic Year 2023-24 starting from July 2023.

Available of online application forms mode 24 March  2023

Last date for submission of completed application forms 17 April  2023

Research Assistantship (RA): A candidate, selected for the Ph.D. Programme, at IIT Bombay will be eligible for the financial support under the RA category subject to the fulfilment  of criteria.

The assistantship is payable for a maximum duration of 5 years or up to the thesis submission, whichever is earlier. The monthly rate of assistantship is Rs. 35,000/ for the first 2 years and enhanced rate of Rs. 39,000/ for the remaining period.

Centre for Research for Nanotechnology & Science

Physics

Centre for Policy Studies

Systems & Control Engineering
