New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, an Institution of Eminence (IoE), has released Admission Notification for PhD and MS (R) Programmes – Semester II 2020-21. IIT Delhi offers 30 PhD Programmes with extensive choices of specializations.
Candidates in the final year of their programmes and who expect to complete all their qualifying degree requirements before the date of registration are also eligible to apply for admissions.
Selection Procedure: In view of COVID-19 outbreak, the Senate of IIT Delhi has decided that conduct of interviews for admission to PhD programme will be done online through videoconferencing.
Key Dates: Submission of online application commences on 12 October 2020 (12:00 noon).
The closing date for submission of online application and application fee is 30 October 2020 (04:00 pm)
The Range of dates for Test / Interview are December 01 – December 13, 2020
Financial Assistance & Other Support: A scheme for the award of Teaching/Research Assistantship for providing financial assistance to the students exists. In terms of this scheme, those non-sponsored students who are admitted on full-time basis are considered for the award of Half Time Teaching/Research Assistantship.
