Mumbai: Are you a graduate and dreaming to pursue career in the banking sector? IDBI Bank, a leading PSU Bank, has invited applications from the eligible candidates for Executive posts to be filled on contract basis at its different Branches and Offices across India. The interested candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD). Total number of vacancies for Executive posts is 500 (tentative), as per the IDBI Bank recruitment notification.
The submission of online application has commenced from today (16 November 2016). The closing date for submission of application is 30 November 2016. The Online Test will be tentatively held on 6 January 2016. The Recruitment Notification has mentioned that the appointment of Executive will be on a contractual basis.
Eligibility for Executive posts: Age: Minimum age is 20 while maximum age is 25 years (as on October 01, 2016). The applicant must have been born not earlier than October 02, 1991 and not later than October 01, 1996 (both dates inclusive). Upper Age relaxation is available to reserved/special category candidates as per Government Rules & Laws.
Educational Qualification: A Graduate from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD). If Grades/ CGPA are awarded instead of marks, only candidate securing CGPA/ Grade equivalent to 60%/ 55% in case ST/ST/PWD should apply.
Those who are in the final year of their Graduation / Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for Document Verification and Pre Recruitment Medical test, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation examination on or before 30.11.2016. Nature of Jobs: These posts are offered by IDBI bank on a contract basis. The contract would be initially for a period of 1 year and this may be reviewed for extension on year-to-year basis for a further period of 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of vacancies. On successful completion of a period of 3 years of contractual service, such appointees may become eligible for appointment as Assistant Manager (Grade A) in IDBI Bank through a selection process that would be conducted by IDBI Bank. The Executive will be paid a lump sum/fixed remuneration as per the following: Consolidated remuneration Rs 17,000 per month in the first year; 18,500 per month in the second year; Rs20,000 per month in the third year of service.
Selection Process: All eligible applicants will have to appear an Online Test, which will be tentatively held on 6 January 2016. The Test will comprise of three parts: Reasoning (50 Questions, 50 Marks maximum); Working English Language (50 Questions, 50 Marks maximum); and Quantitative Aptitude(50 Questions, 50 Marks maximum). The online test will have total marks of 150 and 90 minutes duration. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
As per the Recruitment Notification, the final selection or offer of employment would be made based on applicant’s marks in the online test, subject to medically fit and fulfillment of all other eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement.
