Neemrana, Rajasthan:  Raffles University, a private university based in Neemrana, Rajasthan, has invited applications for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme for its various departments: School of Law, Alabbar School of Management, School of Basic & Applied Sciences and School of Engineering & Technology. The last date for submission of application is 15 February 2017.

There are 68 PhD seats for which admission has been offered under various disciplines. The various disciplines available for pursuing PhD course are as followed: School of Law- Economics of Law, Sociology of Law, Political Science of Law and Law (total 23 seats); Alabbar School of Management – HRM, Marketing ,Finance ,Business Administration (total of 20 seats); School of Basic & Applied Sciences – Chemistry, Zoology ,Mathematics ( total seats of 23); School of Engineering & Technology -Computer Science (total seats of 02).  The PhD programmes are available under Full-Time and Part-Time mode.

Admission procedure: As per the admission notification uploaded on the official website of the Raffles University (http://rafflesuniversity.edu.in/),  First, candidates desiring to pursue Doctoral Degree (PhD) are required to obtain the prospectus from the University and apply in the prescribed format attached therein along with a photocopy of qualifying exam (Post Graduation or equivalent in core subject) mark-sheet.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a Raffles University Research Eligibility Test (RU-RET) organized by the University followed by a Personal Interview with a panel constituted for the purpose, wherein the candidate is expected to specify his/her research interest area.

Candidates having passed UGC NET (JRF)/CSIR NET (LS)/SLET/GATE or having done MPhil are exempt from RU-RET.  Admission will be granted on the basis of performance in the written test, qualifying examination marks and personal interview.
