Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) & Parliamentary Affairs, Mr Rajiv Pratap Rudy visited Bhubaneswar -based Kalinga Institute Industrial Technology (KIIT) and KIIT Institute of Social Science (KIIS) yesterday (3 July 2016).  During his visit the Minister discussed about the implementation of skill education for 25,000 tribal students.  Rudy lauded the initiatives made by Mr Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT and KIIS, to empower the underprivileged kids and students.

Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) is a residential institute for the tribals, providing accomodation, food, health care, education from Kindergarten to Post Graduation, vocational training and all other basic amenities of life free.
