Bhopal: Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies, a state university based in Bhopal, has released official admission notification for 2017-18. Admissions are open in various Master’s degree and PhD degree programmes. The online submission of application has commenced from 06 April 2017. The closing date for submission of online application is 12 June 2017.
The Master of Arts (M A) programmes are available in Buddhist Studies, Indian Philosophy, Vedic Studies, Sanskrit, Yoga and Holistic Health, Hindi, English, Chinese Language, Master of Science (M Sc) in Yoga and Holistic Health, Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Indian Painting. Master of Philosophy (MPhil) programmes are offered by the university: Buddhist Studies, Indian Philosophy, Vedic Studies, Sanskrit, Hindi, Yoga, Indian Painting, Ayurveda, and English.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) offered by the university for the academic year are as followed: Buddhist Studies, Indian Philosophy, Vedic Studies, Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Hindi, English, and Indian Painting. Further, Diploma in Chinese language and Certificate Course in Chinese Language and Written and Spoken Sanskrit are also offered by the university for the Academic Session 2017-18.
The university will hold Written Examination on 12 June 2017 for admission to the following course: MA/MSc/MFA/MPhil/PhD. Viva-Voce for certificate courses, MA/MSc/MFA/MPhil/PhD will be held on 05-06 June 2017. Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies has informed that the classes will commence form 27 July 2017.
The university mentioned in the admission notification that Scholarship worth of 8,000/- per month is available to MPhil students while Scholarship worth of 14,000/- is available for PhD students.
The university informed that foreign national and students can apply for admission to these courses.
