Banasthali: Banasthali Vidyapith, a fully residential women’s university based in Rajasthan, has released official admission notification for the academic year 2017-18. The admission to various courses including Under Graduate, MA, MBA, MTech, MPhil , and others are open. The closing date for submission of application is 30 April 2017 and 15 May 2017 (with late fee). Admission to Banasthali Vidyapith university is open to women only.
MA programmes are available in the following subjects: Economics, History, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Hindi, English & Sanskrit. MPhil programmes are available in Economics, History, Sociology, Political Sc., Hindi, Sanskrit & English (ELT), Geography, and Music (Vocal/ Inst.) / Drawing, Mathematical Sc.
MTech programmes are available in the following subjects: MTech in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Comp. Sc./ IT, VLSI Design, Remote Sensing, and Nanotechnology.

The university will conduct aptitude test in June 2017 for selection of candidates for the all programmes.
The university has informed that a limited number of seats are available for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates. Admission against these seats are based directly upon the merit and the applicants do not have to appear in the Aptitude Test. The eligibility for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.(Except for B.Ed. where it is 50% and M.Ed. where it is 55%).
