New Delhi: The CBSE has declared UGC NET examination, which was held on 5 November 2017. The results are available on the official website of www.cbsenet.nic.in . The results were officially declared yesterday (02 January 2018).

At the official website of www.cbsenet.nic.in, the candidates need to click on CBSE-UGC NET RESULT – NOVEMBER 2017. Then they need to Enter Application Number,  Roll Number and Date of Birth. After submitting these information, candidates will be able to access the results.

Nearly 9.30 lakh candidates registered for UGC NET examination, which was held on 5 November 2017. Approximately 4,09,439 male, 5,19,557 female candidates and 3 transgenders registered for the exam. The CBSE informed that more than 75% candidates appeared in the exam.

The exam was conducted in 91 cities at 1700 exam centres. The candidates appeared in three papers, paper-I of General Awareness was common for all and paper-II and III were conducted out of 84 subjects selected by the candidates.

On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges.
