Manipal, Karnataka: Manipal University, formerly Manipal Academy of Higher Education, has invited applications for Dr. TMA Pai PhD scholarship program January 2018. There are 30 PhD seats available for this program under various disciplines.

The last date for receipt of applications is 25 September 2017. The programme will commence from  1 January  2018. The application fee is Rs 600/- .

Disciplines/ Centres/Schools:  Atomic and Molecular Physics; Allied  Health Science; Allied Hospitality Studies ; Communication; Commerce; Dentistry;  Engineering ; Philosophy & Humanities ; Manipal Centre European Studies; Life Science ; Medicine; Management; Nursing; Pharmacy; Information Science ; Science; Statistics; Social Work; and Regenerative Medicine.

 Eligibility: Masters degree in respective subject with 60% aggregate marks.

Duration – Six months probationary period + 3 years

Admissions  Procedure:  Based on marks obtained in the past academic records, publication and research experience the candidates will be short – listed for written test /interview.

 Scholarship  Benefits:  The university will provide scholarship amount per candidate as followed below:

 Six months Probationary period : Rs. 14,000 per month

First year: Rs. 16,000 per month

Second year: Rs. 17,000 per month

Third year: Rs. 18,000 per month
