Mumbai: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will upload answer keys for JEE Main 2017 from 18-22 April 2017.  Over 10 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main 2017, which was held on 02 April 2017.

The CBSE in a public notification said that the answer keys & images of response sheets (OMR sheets) of Pen & Paper Based examination and answer keys of Computer based examination will be displayed on the website www.jeemain.nic.in during 18-22 April 2017. The candidates, who are not satisfied with the captured response, may challenge by filling online application form and paying a sum of Rs.1000/- per question. The challenge of answer keys will also be accepted online only through the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in up to 5.00 PM on 22/04/2017 on payment of Rs.1000/- per question. The fee can be paid by credit/debit card or e-challan.

The results of JEE Main 2017 will be announced on 27 April 2017. Once JEE Main 2017 results are announced top 2.20 lakh candidates will be qualified to appear JEE (Advanced) 2017 test. JEE (Advanced) 2017 is conducted for admission to various BTech programmes of IITs. Also, admission through centralised allocation process in NIT’s / IIIT’s / DTU / CFTI’s for over 24, 000 seats in various BTech courses will kick start based on merit list based on marks in JEE Main examination.

The JEE (Main) secretariat/CBSE is only an examination conducting body. After declaration of result the data is handed over to Seat Allocation Board or the concerned state government/institute for Seat Allocation Process and admission procedure.
