New Delhi, August 09, 2018: FS Junior, one of the world’s largest soccer school chain has entered the Indian fields through an exclusive partnership with Eupheus Learning, a Delhi based EdTech Company. Today, during an event at Pathfinders Global School, Pataudi, Junior launched their first “Eupheus Junior International Football Academy” in India to bring professional soccer coaching to Indian schools. Headed by Mr. Ilya Shteblov, Director of Sports, Junior is already present in 236 cities covering 419 schools all over the world and is now paving their way in India by setting up academies in private schools in collaboration with Eupheus Learning.

The launch and unveiling of the Eupheus Junior International Football Academy plaque was done by H.E. Mr. Andrey Fedorov, Senior Counsellor, Chief Consular Officer along with other important dignitaries from Russian Embassy including H.E Mr. Yaroslav Tarasyuk, the Trade Commissioner and Dr. Viacheslav Bessonov, Chief Expert – Trade of the Russian Federation to India.

Mr. Sarvesh Shrivastava, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Eupheus Learning said, “Indian football is gaining lime light internationally. Earlier this week, India’s U20 Football team won accolades for their win against Argentina at the COTIF Cup in Valencia. It shows that the game of football is coming of age in India. The time is right to bring the training exposure at an early age to international levels. We are excited to partner with FS Junior, one of the world’s largest football training chains.”

Regularly playing football with peers is healthy and keeps a child socially involved in a positive environment. Junior has designed its training curriculum in accordance with variety of experts in youth soccer. The training programs have been modeled for 3-14-year-old kids focusing on the child’s developmental abilities as well as the physical and social aspects of the game.

Speaking on this association, Mr. Ilya Shteblov, Director of Sports, FS Junior said, “We believe that sports play a very important part in a child’s life. Football is not just a game, it helps in boosting both, physical and emotional aspects of kid’s personality and they inculcate positive social and personal values. It is a grass roots program that will help build necessary skills and enhance abilities of the child in the sport and help strengthen India stake in this global game. We are really glad to be associated with Eupheus Learning and looking forward to work in this fascinating nation with vast potential.”

Commenting on the launch, H.E. Mr. Andrey Fedorov, Senior Counsellor, Chief Consular Officer stated, “India has the human resources to progress further in this sport and with the right motivation and training, we can expect more and more enthusiasm for the sport in the younger generation. We welcome the wonderful partnership between FS Junior and Eupheus Learning to open such professional training centres for sports in India. This is not only a collaboration of two organizations but also an opportunity to have a rich exchange of Indian and Russian culture between the two nations.”

Adding to Mr Fedorov, H.E. Mr. Yaroslav Tarasyuk, the Trade Commissioner said, “We welcome and wish success to this important initiative. It’s a significant step in sports training cooperation between Russia and India. We believe this school will support the formation of the Junior football training net in Indian and make football popular among Indian school children. Success will depend on integration in a world football training system with clarity for youth on how to become a football professional.”

Commenting on the launch, Dr Abhilash Pillai, Advisor – Eupheus Junior International Football Academy said, “I feel proud to have played my part in bringing these progressive entities together. India and Russia’s brotherhood goes a long way in history and we need more such joint ventures to make this relationship stronger. I wish all the best to both partners.”

Speaking on this association, Mr. Amit Yadav, Founder Pathfinder Global School said,” Our School’s motto is ‘Dare to dream and learn to lead’ which expresses a notion of walking through untouched paths and experiences the journey of being a true pathfinder. We are happy to be the first in country to have set up this training academy.”
