Warangal: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, the first in the chain of 32 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country, has invited applications for appointing teaching position in its various departments. The total number of vacant faculty positions in 14 departments is 205. The reservations shall be implemented as per the Government of India norms (as applicable for NITs).
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application through online mode is on or before 27 October 2017 (Friday) by 5.30 pm and the hard copy of the same should reach the Institute on or before 3 November 2017 (Friday) by 5.30 pm.
Eligibility Conditions: The candidates shall have PhD in the relevant discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degrees. Reservation shall be as per GOI Norms. The eligibility & experience and recruitment criteria are based on the Recruitment Rules made by Ministry HRD. The faculty positions are available at the following levels: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.
