UGC invites comments from public for new Regulations on Faculty Recruitment

New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) on 18th July 2018 had notified that UGC Regulations on (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic staff in Universities & Colleges and other Measure for Maintenance of Higher Educations) 2018.To look into various issue pertaining to implementation of these Regulations , the UGC has constituted an Anomaly Redressal  Committee.

The regulator has now invited feedback/responses from the State Governments, Universities & Colleges and faculty and other stakeholders regarding the issues involved in implementing these Regulations for consideration of above said committee.

The UGC informed that the responses may be sending to the UGC on [email protected] latest by 15 December 2018 to enable UGC to place them before the committee for consideration.
