Mumbai: Mumbai University and MasterMyLife EQ Education have jointly introduced two innovative industry-oriented Masters Degree courses in ‘Emotional Intelligence and Human Relations’ and ‘Masters in Emotional Intelligence and Life Coaching’, which are the first of its kind in India.

Both the courses are of two-year duration and are being launched for the first time in the country, which will be conducted at Garware Institute of Career Education and Development. The syllabus for these courses has been benchmarked with the best of the top global universities and contains topics and industry case studies as latest as year 2017 while covering future trends as well, according to Mr. Hemant Lawanghare, Founder of MasterMyLife EQ Education and YouMeAndLife Coaching LLP.

Online admissions have already opened at www.gicededu.co.in for these courses, which are designed to build future leaders while honing students’ employability and entrepreneurship skills. The courses would be conducted at the University’s Kalina campus.

These Master degree courses offer practical training in industries and also aim to specifically build a competency level in the students, so that they can successfully take any challenges in their corporate career or their entrepreneurship venture. Also, these programs offer a great degree of flexibility and various specialization options to students such as Strategy, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Consulting, Coaching, etc.

The courses – which offer 100 percent placement assistance – would provide career opportunities in various industry sectors like Manufacturing, IT, Retail, Consultancy, Hospitality, Banking and Education in the areas of Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product Management, Corporate Strategy and Corporate Communication.

Speaking to mediapersons at a press conference to launch the courses, Mumbai University’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh said, “It has been the endeavour of the University to launch employment and skill development oriented courses to develop competence in our graduates. This year we are launching innovative, modern, internationally benchmarked and industry-oriented Master degree courses in ‘Emotional Intelligence and Human Relations’ and ‘Emotional Intelligence and Life Coaching’.”

“These career courses are being launched for the first time and will be exclusively conducted at Garware Institute of Career Education and Development at University’s Kalina Campus. These courses have been designed by our partner Institute, MasterMyLife EQ Education to build character of students followed by overall development of students and sharpening their competence, entrepreneurship, communication and behavioural skills,” Mr. Deshmukh said.
