Kolkata: IIM Calcutta has invited nominations for Distinguished Alumnus Award from various stake holders including students, alumni, faculty, and staff of the institute. IIM Calcutta, the only triple-crowned, that is, AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accredited business school in India, instituted the Distinguished Alumnus Award as an annual event since it celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the Institute in the year 2011.

As per the guidelines issued by IIM Calcutta, any alumnus of IIM Calcutta who has not received the award earlier and who is not currently working at IIM Calcutta can be nominated for the award.  The awardee alumnus shall be one who has significantly contributed to her/his professional domain in corporate world, academics, government, entrepreneurship, NGO or has made phenomenal contribution toward fulfilling the mission of IIM Calcutta by any means including philanthropic support.

The award includes a citation and a specially designed sculpture embodying the spirit of IIM Calcutta. The award will be handed over during the annual Foundation Day celebration of the Institute on 14 November 2016.

 The last date for registration of nomination for the award is on 15 July 2016 (Friday).
