New Delhi : The School of Media, Film and Entertainment, Department of Mass Communication, Sharda University organised its first guest lecture for this session with Iranian film Producer and Actor Behrooz Chaihel and Mr. Ali Reza. The interaction was organised to help the students learn more about acting and techniques of film making also to understand top level decision making and exposure in the entertainment business and strategic advice on media investments to select a group of media and global companies.

The event started with great enthusiasm where the felicitation of Guest with a bouquet and memento was done by the Dean SMFE Dr. Ritu Sood and Head of the Department Dr. Amit Chawla.

Prof (Dr.) Ritu Sood, Dean, School of Media, Film and Entertainment, Sharda University said, “The lecture session was organised for the students so that they can understand well about the industry and the various tricks and techniques required in film making. This gives a fair idea about how things work so that they don’t face any kind of problem when stepping into the industry and can be future-ready.”

Mr. Ali Reza, Script Writer, Actor and Deputy Cultural Councillor in his welcome address showcased his gratitude towards Sharda University and shared his excitement to build a better relationship between the Indian and Iranian Film Industry. He shared his opinion about Indian Cinema and also acknowledged the presence of a Future International Film Director within the students of Sharda University.

The Screening of Iranian Film Camion took place at the department in the presence of well known international award-winning Film Producer and actor Mr. Behrooz  Chaihel. The plot of the movie was based on War torn region of Kurdistan, Iraq and a woman along with her child looking for her husband. The film has received a huge amount of appraisal from the audience.

After the Screening there was a fruitful interaction of Mr. Chaihel and Mr. Ali Reza with Students. Students had an opportunity to learn and discuss the technicalities of Film Making.
