New Delhi: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the fact that parts of the country are still under strict lockdown, IIT Delhi has opened the PG Admissions portal again, inviting applications for admission to PhD and MS(R) programmes only.
IIT Delhi said this is also in line with IIT Delhi’s existing policy of allowing admissions to PhD and MS(R) programmes round the year.
In a new policy of admission for PG Programmes, the institute informed those interested in MTech degree are encouraged to apply for MS(R), and if selected and after joining, may transfer from MS(R) to MTech (or PhD, depending on qualifications) as per existing policy of the Institute.
Now IIT Delhi has extended closing date for submission of online application for Doctoral for Semester I, 2020-21 to 30 June 2020.
For Doctoral programmes, full-time PhD, Part-Time PhD and Sponsored (full-time) PhD courses are available.
