Udaipur, 26 November 2020: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur, an Institute of National Importance, has released PhD Admission Notification for 2021. The institute waives Tuition Fees, provides free accommodation, Monthly Fellowships & research grants to doctoral scholars.

Eligibility Conditions:
Candidates are eligible to apply for the PhD program if they fulfil the following criteria:
A Master’s Degree in any discipline, with at least 55 percent marks, AND a Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification with at least 50 percent marks (minimum three years of bachelor’s level education after the completion of higher secondary schooling).
(or)
A professional qualification (completed) such as CA (ICAI), ICWA, CS with a Bachelor’s degree
(or)
A 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent.
These criteria are consistent with the Ministry of Education regarding “Minimum Standards for Ph.D. admission in IIMs” as of December 27, 2018.
CAT/GMAT/GRE/NET-JRF in Economics/Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology/Management Scores are mandatory for the candidates applying for Marketing Area.
CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/NET-JRF in relevant discipline Scores are mandatory for the candidates applying for OBHRM Area.
Financial Benefits:
IIM PhD students at IIMU receive a full fellowship that covers the cost of tuition, accommodations, other program expenses and a stipend for a living allowance.
The course fee is completely waived for PhD students.
All PhD students will be provided with single accommodation (or equivalent) at no charge. Students will get shared office space on the campus.
Students will be eligible for a stipend of INR 30,000 per month in the first year with a 10% annual increment up to a maximum of five years.
The Institute will provide a one-time allowance of up to INR 50,000 to purchase a laptop/PC.
